Cocoa Beach is located on a barrier island at Florida’s Space Coast. It has plenty of beautiful water views – no matter if it is the ocean or the Banana River. Port Canaveral is close by – one of the busiest cruise ship ports in the United States – so there is a good chance you will spot some impressive cruise ships. Coconuts on the Beach
Coconuts is directly on the beach. It is a great place for the afternoon. It can get pretty crowded on the weekend. I really like the nachos. The coconuts shrimps are a favorite.
Grills Seafood Deck and Tiki Bar Harbor – Port Canaveral
The Grills at Port Canaveral has a large deck for outside dining. It is a good location to see cruise ships at close range. Check the port schedule in advance for best days to spot the ships.
Grills Riverside Melbourne
Grills also has a stunning location at the Indian River. It has one of my favorite views in the area. Very relaxing. A top choice for dining on the water. You can even come by boat or kayak to dine here.
Sunset Waterfront Grill & Bar
The Sunset Waterfront Bar & Grill is one of the best places to watch a sunset over the Banana River. They have a wide selection of seafood.
The Boardwalk Bar at Cocoa Beach Pier
The Boardwalk Bar is directly on the Cocoa Beach Pier. It offers fantastic views of the ocean and the beach.
The Island Waterfront Bar
The Island is a favorite with locals. It is directly located at the Banana River and you can watch sunsets. It is a fun place to go for a laid-back experience. It is also a good option for a cocktail (with weekdays happy hour from 4-7 pm).
Sand on the Beach
Sand on the Beach is a bit further South in Melbourne Beach. Come here for breakfast, lunch or dinner and watch the ocean. Good cocktails in the Bikini Bar.
