Update July 2024
Taking the little ones out for dinner can sometimes feel like herding seagulls on the beach—chaotic and unpredictable. But fear not! Cocoa Beach offers a variety of dining options that cater to families. Whether you are craving fresh seafood, pizza, or a juicy burger, these restaurants provide a stress-free environment for a memorable lunch or dinner. So let’s explore where to dine with the whole crew!
Texas Roadhouse

Texas Roadhouse offers a nice kids’ menu and is one of the most kid-friendly restaurants in Brevard. We enjoy going there on Monday nights because they have special games and entertainment for the kids.
Long Doggers

Long Doggers offers a laid-back atmosphere. Their menu features wings, burgers, seafood, and their signature long dog. Notably, it caters to both kids and those who follow a gluten-free diet. You can even have fun with their outdoor games while you are waiting for your table.
La Catrina Mexican Restaurant

La Catrina Mexican Restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere and friendly staff.
Taco City

If your children like Mexican food, then Taco City is another fun option. They have special kids’ menus.
Coconuts on the Beach

Coconuts on the Beach is a fun place, and as the name suggests, it’s close to the beach. It’s a great option for combining dining with ocean activities. Their menu includes delicious food and drinks, with a special section dedicated to kids. I recommend avoiding weekends, as it tends to get very crowded. Additionally, it’s an excellent choice when the weather is bad, thanks to its enjoyable ocean-themed indoor seating.
Squid Lips

Squid Lips expansive views and dolphin-watching opportunities make it a memorable experience for all ages. Their menu features Caribbean-inspired dishes, including kid-friendly items.
Tiny Turtle

Indulge in authentic Caribbean cuisine at The Tiny Turtle, where the atmosphere is casual and laid-back. For the little ones, the kid’s menu offers hot dogs, quesadillas, and cheeseburgers. They can also enjoy soft tacos with plantain chips or grilled pork pincho with black bean rice. Vegetarian options include quinoa bowls or wraps.
Juice ‘N Java

This is a place we usually visit for breakfast (for other breakfast recommendations, please read this post). It’s a nice spot to take children. Juice ‘N Java serves delicious smoothies, and you can also stop by for lunch.
Fat Donkey

Last but not least, The Fat Donkey is a great choice to end the evening with unforgettable ice cream.
